Refund Policy

1. Digital Goods (Pay-Per-Use SDS)
All Safety Data Sheets (SDS) generated by SmartMSDS are digital goods delivered instantly. Because the full content is made available immediately after generation, all sales are final and non-refundable once the SDS has been generated.
If any error occurs during generation due to system malfunction or incomplete output, we will correct or re-generate the SDS at no additional charge.
2. Subscription Plans
Subscription plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or yearly, depending on the plan selected). All subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, regardless of usage, inactivity, or changes in your business needs.
We do not offer partial, pro-rated, or mid-cycle refunds for subscription periods. You may cancel at any time to stop future renewal charges; cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
3. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
By completing a purchase or subscription on SmartMSDS, you acknowledge that SDS files are digital goods and that the non-refundable nature of the purchase was clearly disclosed before checkout (including on this page and in our Terms of Service).
Chargebacks or payment disputes submitted for reasons other than technical malfunction of the Service (for example, “change of mind”, “no longer needed”, or lack of internal usage) will be contested. In such cases, we may provide the payment processor with evidence such as:
- these Refund Policy terms,
- our Terms of Service,
- checkout confirmation and timestamps,
- logs of SDS generation activity associated with your account.
4. Technical Issues
If you experience any technical issue that prevents successful generation or download of an SDS, please contact us within a reasonable time and include:
- your order ID or subscription email,
- the CAS number or substance name you attempted to generate,
- screenshots or error messages (if available).
We will investigate and, where appropriate, correct or re-generate the SDS at no additional cost. This remedy (re-generation / correction) is provided in place of monetary refunds.
